Six months had passed since we told Ronan's family we were keeping everything the way it was. The merger held. They grumbled for weeks but in the end they backed off. Business kept running, we kept running our lives together, no more separate bedrooms or pretending.
Every day felt like something new. We laughed more, fought less and f****d a lot. The Game had turned into just us, no rules or darkness needed anymore.
