When Phoebe left the room with Caleb, everyone started making calls. “Why didn't she tell us he made contact?” I asked Vance. “She didn't want to upset us,” he answered, clearly upset. “I don’t like that she went through this alone. I didn't make it any easier for her either,” I say softly.
