I am pacing in the waiting room mentally chastising myself. What the f**k is wrong with me? I should’ve listened to my gut and never went inside that building. I hate that Liz was in danger yet again. When will it ever stop?
The door opens and Dr. Willis came walking in. “Is she okay Wayne?” I asked. “She is just fine. She just needs to stay so we can monitor her. I don’t know if the chloroform will have an adverse effect on her, so its best she stays here.” He says and I breathe a sigh of relief.
“Thanks doc, can I please see her?” I asked. “Sure, follow me.” he said, so I followed behind him. I went into the room, and she looked like she was just peacefully sleeping. I am grateful that she is okay, but I am reminded of the last time she was here. At least this time she wasn’t
