“You two really are the perfect couple.” Rosa says when she sees us. “Thank you, Rosa,” Liz says smiling. “Are you staying over?” I ask and she nods. “Yes, my neighbor is back, so I am free of that little menace.” She says and I chuckle. “Okay, see you in the morning, Rosa.” I say and kiss her cheek.
I offer Liz my arm and we head out. We are using the driver because I normally drink a glass of wine at these events, so I can’t risk driving. “What should I expect?” Liz asks me while fiddling with her dress. “Why are you so nervous?” I ask her and she looks up at me. “I haven’t been to many events like this.” She says and I smile.
“When we get there and you feel uncomfortable in anyway, we will leave immediately. I will never make you stay where you don’t want to be.” I say and she smiles.
