"Oh! I had been wondering where you went," my mom greeted the nice lady with a hint of concern in her voice.
"Yuri, it's been a very hard time for me. I shouldn't have gotten myself involved with a werewolf," she confessed, gazing at the little baby girl in the crib. My mom and I had come to visit her. She also lived in the deep woods just like us. She had a small cabin with one bedroom, a bathroom, and a kitchen. Her condition was worse than ours.
"It's not your fault. When your mate calls, you cannot avoid the bond," my mother reassured her.
"But I don't get it, how can a human like me be mated to a werewolf?" she asked my mom, pouting.
"It happens, although rarely, but it does. If the bond is too strong, the werewolf would reach out to you," my mom explaine
