Aria's mouth hung open in surprise. "You—" She sputtered, finally reaching out to give Lillian a gentle pinch on the arm. "You actually kept this from me!"

"Didn't mean to? Even Aiden knew about you and Ryan before I did! We've been friends for how many years now, and you couldn't trust me with this?" Aria pretended to be hurt and angry, though genuine concern underlined her words.
