It was a little strange how everything could be so wrong, and yet be so right all at the same time. I loved waking up tangled in all the strong arms and legs. I was feeling aches and pains and soreness that had nothing to do with being thrown to the mats in karate, or even from overexercising in the gym. In particular, my butt felt a little prickly, but it wasn’t too horrible. Jack rubbed some kind of cream over it that was very soothing, and I was able to go about my day as usual.
Unfortunately, both Jack and Phoenix had important meetings today. They kissed me goodbye before I headed down for my morning workout and informed me that I was going to be left with Nash Turner.
