‘How would I know that?’ he asks me.
He’s been giving me the running commentary between Ylys and Skylar, so I know what they've been talking about.
‘I don’t know! That breathing thing you do,’ I say.
‘It tells us who you are at your core, Ryuki. Being a princess is a title, it’s not the same thing.’
‘So Ylys didn’t know either?’ I ask, watching as Ylys leans forward to look at Skylar again.
This time, her look is a bit more menacing and while I’m not thrilled to learn that Skylar is a royal, I also don’t want Ylys to kill her.
