For the next week, Kyra worked at the Sanctuary and then the Underground. I went on two missions, both in state, so I could be home with her at night. I had finalized a new contract with Hanna, and we were both happy with how everything turned out.
I told Josh that he and his mother could keep the house they were living in. I signed the deed over to him. He had been extremely grateful and when I asked if he would continue to watch Kyra for me, he said yes, but he didn’t want to get paid for it anymore.
