My paper is also coming along. However, I keep checking my phone. Still no messages from anyone. It's now well past 6 p.m. Milo should be home. I wonder if he even notices that I'm not there.
All of a sudden, a phone started to ring. I nearly jumped out of my skin, and scrambled for my phone. Maybe Milo had noticed that I wasn't home.
I pulled my phone out, but it was blank. I frowned at the screen. Then I heard Lila's voice.
"Hey baby." She whispered. "I'm in the library."
