Alberto pushed the door open and, upon seeing the two embracing on the sofa, stared with his mouth agape, forgetting to speak.
Victoria turned her head and glanced at him, then pulled away from Lorenzo's embrace. Alberto didn't care about Lorenzo's expression or mood at the moment and quickly rushed forward to plead for mercy.
"Lorenzo! I'm serious. I didn't bully her, really. You gotta believe me."
Lorenzo shot him a cold glance. "You bullied her!"
Alberto quickly covered his mouth and looked at Victoria beside him with an innocent expression. Victoria shrugged. "I didn't say a word."
