DAMON I burst through the door to the room where we'd been running our operation against Ronan. Multiple computers lined the walls, maps pinned up showing locations, red string connecting different points. Or at least, that's what it had looked like yesterday. Now it was destroyed. Completely demolished. Every computer screen was smashed, glass and circuit boards scattered across the floor. The maps had been torn down, burned from the looks of the ash piles on the table. File cabinets were overturned, papers shredded into confetti covering every surface.
