AMARA'S POV I walked down the busy road, lost in my thoughts. The cars, the chatter, the smell of roasted corn from a roadside seller ..all of it faded into the background. I didn’t feel energetic enough to go home. I wasn’t ready to face the chaos that waited there. My legs moved on their own until I found myself inside a small café along the road.
