“You don’t need to see this.” She says in between pants. “Yeah, I do. We are in this together right and soon enough it will be for better for worse, sickness and in health. So I’m staying. It’s ok baby.” I say as she heaves again and I keep rubbing her back in soothing movements. After a while, she stops and I reach for a glass of water and hand it to her, telling her to sip it.
