Leo POV.
I watch in awe as Lia asks Carmen the question and Juan goes rigid in my hands as he looks at Carmen with shock in his eyes. Well s**t. Don’t know if I should laugh or feel sorry for him.
“Well, who is the father of this precious, innocent child?” I watch as Lia’s face goes blank and Carmen starts to sob. My heart breaks for Lia.
“Juan.” Carmen says and Lia chuckles before she presses the gun harder into her temple.
“Try again.” Lia says and I look at Wolf and he looks devastated at what his granddaughter is doing. At what she has become. Is it the fact she is seeing a woman who isn’t deserving of having a baby? Or is it the fact that maybe that child is the child of the man who did what he did to her?
