Amelia POV. I run, following the trail of blood drops. I pick up speed as I round a corner and see Leo’s four brothers chasing down a wounded Gabriel. Gabriel is firing behind him in wild abandon. I stop and raise my gun, looking down the sight and squeeze the trigger, the sound loud as I fire again and again until the clip is empty. I watch as Gabriel falls. I run again, changing the clip as I go. “NO ONE TOUCHES HIM!” I shout as I get closer and see Gabriel trying to crawl away. The wounds in his shoulders and the back of his knee. I have no clue how I managed to shoot him in the back of the knee, but right now, I don’t care. I bend down, pressing the barrel of the gun into the back of his head as I grab his hair and pull his head back. He is laughing like a deranged psychopath. “
