“What did you say baby?” He asks and so I tell him and he hums and nods in acknowledgment.
“Lia knows you wouldn’t have meant it in a malicious way. She will come round. Everything that has happened is still raw. She hasn’t really had time to process everything. Give in a minute and I promise you she will come back and give you a big hug and tell you she knew you didn’t mean it.” He says when my mom and dad come closer to us. Uncle Havoc leaves and my mom pulls me into her arms with my dad on the other side of me.
Being hugged in both their arms makes me feel slightly better.
“Want to talk about it?” My mom asks and I nod my head so I tell her what happened and she and my dad both listen intently to what I have told them.
“Oh sweetie, don’t worry. Lia will know you never meant it in an
