Book 2 Chapter 47.-2

660 Words

“Casey, no. No tattoos until you are eighteen. Ask for something else,” Mom tells her, and I lean my head back on the sofa. “No, it’s either she teaches me to drive her baby or I get a tattoo or no forgiveness.” She says, lifting her chin into the air. I rub my forehead as the adults in the room all chuckle. “Fine, I will teach you. But I’m warning you, Casey, you do as I tell you. Got it?” I say to her and she squeals and throws herself at me. “Love you.” She says, then she starts arguing with Roman. Lord, give me strength. “You know, giving her a tattoo would have been less expensive, right?” I turn my head and see pops walking into the room with my grandma. I stand and run to him and throw myself into his arms. “Pops, are you ok?” I fuss over him and he chuckles and kisses my head.
