Amelia POV. “Gently press the break. Casey, gently.” I say as we are both thrown forward as I look at her and she grimaces. “Sorry,” she says, looking at me like she is constipated. I roll my eyes at her and give her instructions again, and she follows them slowly. We are moving at a snail’s pace. But it is ok. “Relax, jeez. If you hold on to the steering wheel any tighter, you will break it. Relax your shoulders and just go.” I say to her and she takes a breath and presses the gas and I watch her as she drives carefully. I did promise her, so this is me fulfilling that promise. It has been a week since Gabriel, Maria, and Marcel were all killed. Casey thankfully waited to ask me for the driving lesson I promised her and for that I was grateful. I needed a little time to come to terms
