Amelia POV.
I’m sitting in the waiting room of the hospital waiting to see Dr Walker for my three-month post surgery review. Obviously Leo is with me. I’m not nervous, just a bit worried. My periods have changed over the last three months. Which I knew they would, but this feels different.
I didn’t say anything because I didn’t want to worry anyone, so I decided to wait until today to say something.
“Amelia Frost-Gambino.” I stand and Leo stands too. He holds my hand as we walk to the room where Dr Walker is waiting for us. She smiles as she stands and shakes my hand and Leo’s.
“It is so good to see you again, Amelia. How has everything been?” She asks and I take a deep breath and here goes.
“My periods have changed. They aren’t as painful or as bad as they were before the surgery.”
