One minute we were casing the area, the next we were talking to the man in charge. It wasn’t Gabriel, but it was a man from his ranks.
“Leo Michaels, my boss has head a lot about you. Must say it is no surprise you came here looking for us. But you see, this is as far as you will go.” The bastard chuckles like he is mr big s**t.
“Who ratted me out? Come on, why not tell me? You are going to kill me, anyway.” I say, and the man smirks at me.
