Leo’s POV.
I have never been so scared in my entire life. I know I need to be strong for Lia, but right now I can’t be because she is in so much pain. Pain that I can’t take away and the damn drugs she has been given aren’t f*****g working.
Now don’t get me wrong, she has snarled and glared at me when I have snapped at the midwife because my woman is in pain, but one look from Lia’s glacial gaze has me shutting up. She was practically foaming at the mouth.
“You are doing great, baby, so great.” I say as I rub her back while, yet again, a snarl leaves her mouth.
