Honestly, I was exhausted. My back hurt. My feet hurt. Everything hurt. I slowly pushed myself off the bed— And suddenly froze. Something warm trickled down my legs. My eyes widened. “Nicholas!” The bathroom door burst open instantly like the man had been standing there waiting for disaster. “The baby!” His eyes nearly popped out of his head. “Oh my God.” “Nicholas!” “I got you, baby, I got you.” Before I could even blink, he swept me into his arms and rushed out of the room like the palace was on fire.
