His eyes weren’t the blue I knew so well anymore.
They were glowing gold.
Nicholas’s teeth came out sharp and deadly, glinting in the dim light. He looked like he was barely holding himself together. Every muscle in his body was tense, straining with control. He stopped moving completely, just stayed buried deep inside me, breathing hard and fast. His chest rose and fell like he had run a marathon.
