The next day, when Cassian woke up, he felt a warm body next to him. When he opened his eyes, he saw Maya sleeping beside him, her legs tangled with his. They were both still completely naked, and he closed his eyes again to avoid looking at her. At that moment, with a clear head, he realized the mistake he had made; he wasn't quite sure what to do or what to say to Maya when she woke up.
