After exchanging several kisses, Alessandro paused, holding Abril in his arms, and spoke with a trembling voice full of destructive guilt.
"I'm sorry."
"Why are you apologizing?"
"For sending you away, believe me, it was painful to be apart from you."
Abril knew it was true, at one point she had doubted it, but deep down she knew he was just as sad as she was about not being together.
"That doesn't matter anymore. It's in the past; now we're together."
"Even so..."
Abril pulled away a little, placed a finger on Alessandro's lips, and said.
"Don't continue with that. We're together, and from now on, we always will be. I don't plan to go far from you ever again, so don't try to push me away because you won't succeed."
