Cassian felt powerless. He struggled to break free from the guards who had him immobilized, but all efforts were in vain; the guards held him tightly. The queen gestured to the guard holding Maya in his arms to take her away.
"Where are they taking her?"
Cassian shouted desperately as he saw her being taken away. The queen stood in front of Cassian, blocking his view, and replied,
"Don't worry about her. Nothing bad will happen to her; she is where she needs to be, in her home."
"This is not her home. Let her go."
"She never belonged to you; she is her own person. It was her decision to become my servant, so take what you came for and leave."
"No, I already told you I wouldn't leave here without Maya."
"Then you leave me no choice."
