Holly Holly smiled as she listened to the city men, ten of them, dressed in their very new cowboy finery, talking about hunting and fishing like they knew what ranch life was all about. She also noticed the longer they were here, some country accents started to be heard. She knew d*mn well not one of them grew up anywhere for them to start talking like that. They even said “Howdy ma’am” to her and Angie like they were born to do it. She chuckled softly while one of the men regaled a few with a story of visiting his uncle's ranch every summer from the age of ten to sixteen and the one time he had to help with a calf birthing. “It was the most disgusting, brilliant experience I’ve ever been through. I mean it was really the deciding factor in me becoming a lawyer instead of a rancher.
