“Well, hello,” Lorena said with a smile.
“Ohhhh, babies. I didn’t think they were going to be here,” I said excitedly.
“I couldn’t stay away from them today. I just miss them so much when we are apart, so Anthony and I are compromising. I got them this morning, and he gets them tonight. Sleep over for Lorena and me.”
“Yay!” I said, swooping down and picking up Kara. “Hello, princess, how is Auntie Rebecca’s favorite girl?”
She giggled and cooed. Antonio squealed, and I turned to him.
“Oh, I didn’t forget you, sweet prince,” I said, bending over to him as he wiggled in Lorena’s arms and kissed his head. He gave me a drooling grin.
“You are extremely chipper this morning,” Lorena said.
“Can’t an engaged girl be happy to see her sisters?” I asked, holding out my hand.
