Taren paired me with Rhea again during training. She had knocked me down more times than I cared to count when I started, but I understood her movements better now. She came at me from the left, and I moved before she could catch my arm. My foot turned as I used her movement to send her past me.
Rhea caught herself before she fell. I moved behind her, but Taren called for us to stop. He was staring at my feet instead of my face. I wondered what I had done wrong.
"Do that again." Taren pointed to where I had been standing. "The exact same way. Don't change anything."
Rhea returned to her position. She came toward me again, and I reacted the way I had before. I turned away from her reach and used her movement against her. Taren stopped us again.
