Kaira’s POV
“Hey, are you still planning to keep swimming laps until the pool closes?” I called out from the lifeguard stand, my voice bouncing off the tiled walls as I watched Lucy slice through the water one more time.
She was always the last one here, pushing herself hard like she had something to prove against the water.
I leaned forward, elbows resting on my knees, and felt that familiar tug deep in my stomach every time I saw her body move so smoothly through the lanes.
Her arms pulled back with real power, legs kicking up splashes that caught the low lights hanging above.
God, her body looked strong and tight in that swimsuit, the fabric clinging to her curves in a way that made my pulse pick up.
