Avery POV
The bass from the speakers in Daniel’s living room was already thumping low and dirty by the time I stepped through the front door.
My best friend Emma was out of town for the weekend, so when her older brother texted me earlier that afternoon saying the house was empty and he could use an extra hand “setting up for a little get-together,” I didn’t even think twice.
