TESSA. The lot was already packed when we pulled in. Cars filled every corner, headlights cutting through the night, and people were everywhere. Some leaned on hoods with bottles in their hands, others moved around in groups, their voices rising over the music blasting from somebody’s speakers. I’d seen races before, but standing here tonight felt different. It wasn’t just another ride. Everyone knew it. Ryder called out the names of the seven riders, his voice carrying over the crowd.
