It was a good day of walking the massive grounds that Oscar had. I brought down three rabbits. Shadow and Mimic each brought down a plump wild turkey. The men had opted to use bows and arrows and knives to hunt. I thought it was weird but fun. Later, Billy let it slip that Oscar didn’t want anyone using a gun around him, Oscar or Papa R. That only the guards were allowed to carry.
No one else caught anything, and like me, my brother's chests were puffed out as we gave our spoils to the chef.
