Demon did exactly what he said he was going to do. The Budget Suites had a two bedroom option, and he got us one of those. Both girls were passed out. We doctored the one girl’s back as best as we could with the medical supplies he got. After I took Ally to a low-key clinic, I found and got all kinds of tests for her done. I knew once she woke up, she’d want to get checked out. I paid the clinic doctor with a bundle of cash and gave him my number for the results. His initial check of her, which I hated for her to get done, but was necessary, showed there were no outward signs of disease.
