I am so tired, I’ve been running for three weeks. I’ve driven thousands of miles and have traveled through so many cities. I went from Nevada, to Arizona, then Texas and Alabama. I stopped in Alabama for a couple of days to rest but then got back on the road. I overheard on the radio about Thalia’s condition. I smiled, because there’s no way she remembers me, so if she doesn’t remember me, then maybe she won’t connect me as her attacker. I don’t think Demon saw me and I hit him pretty hard, so maybe he has retrograde amnesia too? God, I hoped so. I really needed to get away with this. I needed to find Marco too.
There’s also been no news about me. So, the authorities aren’t looking for me. Maybe I can stop running. Find a place to permanently stay.
