I was shaking, my man just left to throw his body into danger. It’s not like he hasn’t done it before.
“Do you think they’ll be okay?” Heidi sobbed.
I looked at her and Alyse. This was their first experience with real danger.
“They’ll be fine. They know what they’re doing, all of them are trained for this. You have no idea how deadly your men really are. Trust me, they’ll be just fine.”
