Chapter 52 "Okay," Luca whispered finally, voice small and exhausted. "I promise." "Good," Sol said, though the fear in his chest refused to fully settle even with that small promise secured. "I'm staying tonight. All night. No arguing about it." Luca didn't argue. He simply nodded weakly, his grip on Sol's hand loosening slightly as exhaustion finally began pulling him toward sleep, though Sol noticed he kept a faint hold on his fingers even as his breathing evened out.
