He knew Leigh was annoyed with him. If there was no threat, then why couldn’t she go with him? And if there was a threat apart from her dad, she was likely the strongest there with Jara assisting her to deal with it.

“I know.” He sighed, “I have to get past a Luna being inside the packhouse. Still have that mentality, guess it stems from what most other packs do, and from seeing my mother and grandmother doing as I grew up.” he shook his head, he was going to have to find a way to get over that, or Leigh was going to be annoyed about it all the time, and he didn't want that, liked it when she was happy.
