Alex kissed her forehead slightly before taking his seat directly opposite her.
“Are you tired? Here, drink water”. Alex handed a glass of water to Emily with a smile.
Emily was still puzzled by the way Alex kissed her forehead, and the smile he had on his face even when she ignored him. If she remembered correctly, this man had said she intentionally got pregnant for him and even if he had been hugging her to sleep they hardly conversed with each other.
