I closed the door behind me, my feet cold in fear and anticipation. But Rex didn’t stop. He moved further into the room, walking to a small shelf. He pulled a book on the shelf. Instantly, I heard a cracking sound. Then I watched as part of the wall started to shift, pulling open, revealing a… passage. He stepped into it. He didn’t turn to confirm if I followed. But I did.
