Hands locked beside him in a fist. He turned and slammed the door as he left. The room stayed quiet for a long time. I looked at Rex. My heart was still racing. Part of me was hugely happy that Black had been defeated and Chloe was gone. But another part of me was still unsure. Scared. In doubt.
