Everything happened so fast; one minute I was in a ton of pain that I could barely wrap my head around it let alone function, and then the next thing I knew I was seeing Elliot falling to the ground. I was seeing nothing but red; I didn’t care about the pain or the flashes of light in my vision, all I cared about was Elliot. I could feel something stirring so deep inside of me that it took me by surprise. I wasn’t sure what it was until I felt it surging through me and giving me way more strength than I thought I could have at this moment.
