Graeme’s fingers flexed repeatedly on his thighs before clenching again. It was a subconscious action, one he wasn’t even aware he was making. The frantic rush from the afternoon had settled down into an undying anxiety that gnawed at him. It had been over nine hours since Macy had been admitted, and she was yet to stir.
