Gabe sat on the lounge that evening after they had all returned from having a family dinner out at the local Malaysian restaurant and watched William look at pictures of his children on the mantle in Cinda’s house. He didn’t know how the man felt about her having them framed and on display. He did know that she had them, had even told Gabe he could give them to her as long as there were none of him and Catherine amongst them.
Watched as William stood there with Cinda, and saw her tell him and touch Lisbeth’s photo and told him who her mother was. It had to be hard for him, to hear her say that, point out Lisbeth, and know it was actually Gabriella and William who were her biological parents, that Lisbeth was actually her aunt.
