Leon started to argue when I made that request but Doctor Julio dragged him out without giving him a chance to finish. I could hear Leon protesting from outside the cave entrance and honestly, that man needed to learn when to let things go.
When everyone was gone, I faced Asher who had his head leaning against my shoulder.
"How are you feeling?" I asked even though I already knew it was probably not the best question at that moment.
He chuckled. Low and tired.
"I feel like a tractor just ran over me." He replied.

That was the kind of answer you would get from me or Kiara but not Asher.
