I didn't know whether to laugh or cry at that.
“ She is older than us and we are in her turf. Let it slide. Even for my sake, yeah?” I asked.
I caught Asher staring at my lips, seemingly havingn't heard what I said and my tongue involuntarily came out to lick them. His eyes darkened with something I understood quite well. The look in his eyes was one that I was very familiar with.
He covered the space between us, his arms snaking my waist and lips coming down on mine. I was pushed against the wall, the door slamming shut behind us.
As his lips claimed mine, his hands slid over my body, setting my skin on fire. My body came alive as his touch lit a fuse that set off an explosive reaction within me.
