“For Christ’s sake, Mom! Stop crying already!” Sadie shouted at her mother. After being handed divorce papers by David, Agatha Galloway tried her best to coax him into forgiving her; after all, they had been married well over twenty years, and he had doted on her hand and foot since the day they had met.
