At the Blue Lake packhouse, Rylee and Wyatt received a call from Richard, informing them that Svetlana had just departed to intercept Aries and the rest of the bounty hunters.
“Do they have Aurora?” Wyatt asked, his voice tight with an urgency that mirrored the restless pacing of his wolf.
“I don’t know any details, Wyatt,” Richard replied, his voice crackling over the line. “All I know is that the Luna of Desert Moon ripped one of her calling cards. Svetlana went there, immediately came back to inform me, and then left to retrieve them. They should be arriving at Blue Lake soon.”
Wyatt gripped the edge of his desk, the wood groaning under the sheer force of his pressure.
“Okay, thank you, Richard,” Wyatt said, his voice clipped as he hung up.
