Jaxon’s POV
Alexei had filled me in on the phone call that he received. It was a short conversation, but we all assumed that both warnings had come from Tom. He was the only member of their group that had not been guilty of an actual crime. I suspected that he was the one with the warnings. But when Alexei asked him if his name was Tom, there was a long pause before the line was dropped. The caller had not admitted or denied who they were. When we catch them in the act, we will figure it out.
During the pause, Alexei told them that I would have a place for them in my pack if they were innocent of doing anything but getting justice. I had mentioned that yesterday when we were making plans. The stipulation was that Anton had to read them before I allowed them into the pack. W
